One of my close friends is expecting a baby very soon. We've been discussing potential names.

My favourite for a boy is Sebastian , for a girl it's Rosie.

Do you like your own name too? I like mine as its unusual.

Nope. Not a huge fan of my name. It's pretty common and my parents put no thought into it at all.

I like the names Jessica and Erin for a girl and Connor for a boy.

Rotherham

I like names like Evangeline, Magdalena or Anastasia. In fact I like a lot of Russian and Eastern European names.

I do like my name. Simple. One syllable. Not odd or weird in any way.

I like both my Christian name and my middle name. I always said that if I had a son he'd be Jack for my granddad, never really thought about a girl. As it is, instead, I have a dog called Pepper who is deranged but adorable.

I'm not religious but...any name from the Bible...classic and simple. My mom gave me one and I hated it as a kid but now love my name.

Don't like made up spelling of names. Oh and old fashion names...rock too.

As for my name its so boring I don't dislike it I've just never attached myself to it.

My mother was going to call me Juliet and I think that would of suited me better

"Chlamydia" is a pretty name for a girl, or "Detritus" for a boy.

Chams or Socials

I used to hate my name as it's spelt differently. My best friend has the same name but spelt correctly.

I love it now though as it's different. My dad chose it & has meaning to him.

I gave my boys short Celtic/Gaelic names but they also have 2 middle names.

If I'd had a girl she would have been Cerys Elizabeth a variation of my favourite aunt's name (she died when I was 7)
