I have found more that men do it(from my experience) as they want to fit into women's age brackets on here. I have had a 48 year old say he was 42...a 48 say he was 38...and someone well into 50s say 38...lol |

We havent, but have come across loads of men that blatently have. Stupid thing is they say they're vwhatever age, but then look really old so regardless of whether they're within our age limits - we wouldnt meet them! |

All the safety guidelines say never put your real age/dob on forms on social networking sites fewer details the better. I chose a neutral age to attract blokes of the same or similar as thats the age group I want to meet. My birthday on this site is 1st April 1964 and on April 2nd It will be changed to 1st April 1964 again. |

Tbh what does it matter? Some look shit at only 28 others look awsome at 45.
Some webcam _iews are horrific but you'll learn in this lifestyle that you definitely can't tell a book by the cover lol. |

You're right. It doesnt matter what you put on the form I think people can guess your age on the forums from the memories you write about or the age group of your grown up children. It doesnt take a maths genius to work out all fo the clues I take profile info on face value and dont waste time wondering if its who they really are. They are what they want to be here. |

50 and shocked by it! Every now and then I go into my "God! When did I get to be 50?!!" Pointless then knocking bits off as my goldfish memory would forget I had and go into my 50 and old rant!
One man I met on another and celebrated is 58th birthday is now 48. I thought he looked older than his years when we met so who he thinks he's fooling is beyond me! Another is 45 but has 39 on his profile and a 42 year old has 34 on his.

I haven't felt the need to lie about my age since I was a teenager...and then it was a case of adding a couple of years so I could get into night clubs in Liverpool.
I'm 51....and like Sassy...some days I wonder how that happened |

I wish people would refrain from saying "age is just a number": if that were the case we wouldn't frown on 40 year old men banging 14 year old girls: ok extreme, but you see my point.
Equally as annoying as saying "their loss!" Hello!!! If someone rejects you how is it their loss?!! If you were a prize they wouldn't discard you would they?!! |

Thought when you registered on here, you entered your birthday so it would change when you became a year older.
May have to alter mine this year though as loads of profiles say they'll meet up to age 55 and I'll be past it later in the year sob, sob. |

some girl on here(well use to be on here lol),messaged me on my single profile chatting away and then told me she was 17 and if that was ok but had to put 18 to get on site,i said no ur too young and reported her lol.

I'm like that with 35, now it's nearly here although age didn't bother me in the past, for some reason 35 seems like proper grown up! I suspect I might not move from 35 once it hits and like some other posters, I'll choose this one as my "stick" age. For now I'm telling the truth, but in time, who knows ... muuhaaahhhhaaaa! |

I said that I was going to start counting backwards when I got to 40.
However, I'm now 44, been told I look 34 (on a good day, lol) but am absolutely happy to admit to my age. Don't see the point in lying - age is just a number.

I was 50 when we started this, and being the nieve person I am, I trusted everyone to be honest with us. A couple, who are our friends, were the same age as us when we met them, now they are both 3yrs younger, lol. Time stands still for some in Cornwall |

we are the age we say we are (her)44 (him) 43... we feel younger but dont see the point in lying about it..
