Yeah yeah I know, the old clique thread again, but when people say about cliques and not gaining entry to them it makes me wonder if they exist.

I post a lot, and in sure some if you get sick if seeing ny mug in nearly everything, and certain people will always get priority viewing when I see they have posted, does this mean I'm in a clique, your thoughts please

In the middle

I think you are only in a clique if you only ever kiss, pass, fuck, or fab the "usual suspects"

You have I make your own mind up who the "usual suspects" are though

I think the existence of cliques or not depends on your experience. On fab I notice that my posts are frequently ignored in favour of people I perceive to be more popular than me but in life my circle or clique will respond to me the same as they respond to others in our circle.

Cliques exist and there aren't many of us who aren't in one of some kind.

My clique is so exclusive nobody, not even me, is allowed to join.

I don't read every thread, so some names I know have made interesting posts in the past get priority attention. Others who's posts have been dull or troll like will be ignored.

I post quite often, some get responses others don't, I don't really care much either way.

I don't know about a clique but there's definitely a certain amount of class or caste bandered about.

Most people are just pissed off about their own placement in it and not the fact that it exists

You're only in a clique if you're not true to yourself in what you post, and do so to match others opinions.

I don't believe you are. Don't agree with all you post but you're certainly true to yourself from what I read.

How do cliques form? By getting to know people and talking with them, pretty similar to friendships in my opinion. So what is the difference? When I go to a club people would have the opinion that I was in a clique, because I have made the effort to talk with people and get to know them. Someone left a comment on another forum post saying cliques at a club I was at, however it's never just the same people talking, plenty New people come along too. I feel they refer to groups as cliques as it is a sub section of society, if you were to go to town and a group were shopping you wouldn't call them cliques, you'd say friends.

Back where I belong

I don't know if I'm in or out and to be honest - I don't care. I try not to upset people intentionally, although I do have a dry sense of humour which not everybody appreciates.

Do I want to be in your gang/ clique? Not really, I like being me xxxxx

People that are new may perceive you are in clique, a just think there's no such thing as clique, I find that you may others may jump to the defence or comment on users in the forums they like or have built some form of online friendship with.... Just like moving to a new area, new job or in a certain pub the first time

We cannot expect to like everyone or expect everyone to like us, same goes for posts

I'm starting a clique who's sole entry requirement is that no members are to be associated with any kind of clique ever....

I think the appearance of clique is emphasised on a forum, regular readers will know something of a posters track record, replies may be half stated and half implied from another thread which will confuse new readers. that is without the PM element where some part of the comment is private etc.
