"Duel.
Scared me witless; don't think another film has ever matched it for tension. "
Fantastic film!
You just reminded me of similarly tense films I like - Breakdown with Kurt Russell and The Lovely Bones.
I like the old surfing classic 'Endless Summer' too. Epic footage if anyone is a fan of surfing! |

If you like Breakdown and Lovely Bones try 'the pledge ' with Jack Nicholson. |

Interesting call with The Pledge: similar sort of theme to the Lovely Bones.
Best film is soo hard!
I might have to go for Annie Hall, or Casablanca, or Night of the Hunter,or..
Bloody hell.
Really enjoyed SLow West recently. And Untouchable, and True Grit.
Hard to get past Raiders or Empire though. |

Warriors is stylistically fantastic! Hate the directrors cut version though were they have all the comic stripesque inserts between scenes, AND he's cut the lovely ending where they're on a pier or something as the sun begins to rise.
I've still not seen Convoy, but I have a fondness for Cable Hogue, and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. |

I have tons that I would count as favourites. But out of those, Singin' In The Rain and Seven Samurai are probably the two that I think are the most brilliant. |

The best little whorehouse in Texas
Winters bone
Pat garret & billy the kid
The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford.
Not particularly in that order.
Oh and a particular mention to Boogie Nights. I'll watch Burt Reynolds in anything but that is his finest moment. |

"Shit! Forgot about Wonderful Life,
Double shit! Kubrick! The Shining!"
From the look of your profile picture I would have guessed your favourite film was The Sound Of Music. |

Got to be the Toy Story trilogy! (will never be able to choose a favourite out of the three. Nor will I be able to choose from all four, after the 4th ones release in the USA in 2018) |
