Get two table spoons of sugar and mix with a tea spoon of olive oil. Use the mix as a scrub for your hands and scrub for a few minutes. It helps get rid of dead skin. Use hand cream afterwards...
And repeat! it's brilliant. |

"I'll try the sugar and olive oil. I've used a Supermarkets own brand hand cream and found it better then some branded ones."
Use the cream regularly, it really helps. |

Get some Skintex cream from a Paydens chemist. They're the only chemist to sell it. Approx £2.70 for a small tub.
Amazing stuff, put it on at night so,it can soak in properly.
Cures those annoying splits at the corner of your fingers too.

Shop in drugstore for cream with urea. If u have really dry skin around 20% urea.
And shea butter. Pure shea butter i the best.
And at least once a week use shea butter for a night (the best with rubber gloves)
I guarantee that after 2 weeks you will not recognize your hands |

If its something that happens often I'd try investing in one of the rock climbing hand repair creams. There are a good few products on the market that are great for quick relief and repair but they are expensive... |

E45 works best and is alot cheaper than fancy dan ones.
The funny thing is about builders hands, is when you take a week off and spend awhile in the sea... Your hands literally fall to bits with great big chunks of hard dead skin falling off, leaving lovely smooth ones |

It's hard to wear latex gloves under my work gloves as I need to hold a radio. Worst thing is the rain it soaks your gloves and dirt gets into the poures of your skin.
A week off work and hands are good. |

Atrixo?
It's very heavy so a little would probably go a long way.
Or "O'Keeffe's Working Hands Hand Cream" it's specifically marketed toward men that work with there hands.
Lots of choice, depends on your preferences.

My hands get chapped and sore (constant scrubbing and hand washing) . I use Dermol, it's unscented and is used a lot in eczema treatment. A few days of it and my hands are smooth, plus you can use it as hand wash too
