From the Kentish Town Forum, north London, Mel Giedroyc hosts the culmination of the UK's biggest ever national song search for the Eurovision Song Contest. This selection show sees six shortlisted acts compete for the honour of representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2016. An expert panel is on hand to offer its thoughts on how the songs could be made to look and sound on the stage in Stockholm. However, it is the public who will have the final say via a telephone and an online vote. Plus, performances by last year's Swedish victor Mans Zelmerlow and 1997 UK winner Katrina Leskanich
wonder if Fabio will pick the winner

"..., it may be the last. If we vote NO in the referendum the EU will expel us from Eurovision for spite."
Yes indeed that is a very worrying scenario and a powerful argument for remaining within the EU.....
My mind is made up.......

Doubt it;
Eurovision is not EU countries;
There are loads of Eurovision countries that are not EU; Israel ( WTF? It's nowhere near Europe) Russia etc etc
Eurovision is so dreadfully shit, it has to be watched ...... But it really lost its appeal when Terry Wogan stopped commentating on it......

Another good reason to leave.
Although they won't because we pay tons towards it and Israel are in but NOT in Europe, let alone the EU |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Eurovision predates us ever joining the EU. It was one of those mad experiments to make Europe peaceful after the war. Just like that strange BBC documentary in the 50s where they broadcast live from everywhere in Europe. |

All this talk about Israel x they were asked to compete as a way of saying we understand the difficulties you are facing and as a sign of friendship and support in this period of trouble you are facing... And they stayed ever since |

"Flabbergasted to see local lad Jake on the show. Hope they do well. "
Jake will never get anywhere - I'm flabbergasted you think he will as, metaphorically speaking (there, that's 3) it's like Turkeys voting for Christmas - nobody ever vote last for the UK these days, everyone hates us! |

You're talking daft now. I don't think they were particularly good. I was surprised to see a local lad in the running. But I am not flabbergorically stating that he would do well. Turkeys voting for Christmas....just a crackers idea |
