Ours is long and staying long... If someone can't be arsed reading that much we'd be unlikely to be that bothered lol...
Tried short.. then you spend ages explaining stuff, simple stuff.. tried longer, even I got bored writing it..

yep i agree with it not mattering if its long if its a good read. If its full of capitals saying "you will not" etc then i tend to turn off.
yours is a great example of how to put across your "rules" without being aggressive...and giving enough initial information for someone to get a feel for compatability

Nothing wrong with a decent sized profile if its funny. But I don't read too much into a bad profile, as not everyone is a budding Hemmingway. Besides, some of the bad ones come across that way because of some of the abusive numpties on here, who don't read the profile properly and mail them regardless of whether or not they're what the profiler wants.
And I ain't knocking anyone else's because mine might be a pile of cack to someone else |

We think long is better... So don't have to do too many e-mails back to back....take time...:D...but need to paragraph it well...and use full stop...:D or it gets annoying and confusing to read...:D
I know some guys don't read profile but it seems we have been having less and less messages these days...I think they are behaving or maybe we are losing our touch...:D |

Well mine has been everything from two words ( which apparantly makes people choke!) to something that has rivaled war and peace and everything inbetween.
I like to read ones that reflect a bit of a persons personality in them and size is irrelevant...apparently! |
