Latex clothing has become slightly more mainstream as various items have been sold in Topshop and of course mainstream chart videos.
How wood people feel if they, for example, saw somebody in a rubber mac but fully dressed underneath on the train?
Would they consider that a little bit inappropriate and maybe not family friendly, or would they consider the material just another textile choice?
Rubber welly boots are no problem so would a coat be?
I just really like the look and feel of rubber and wonder what the public perception would be of non sexual clothing in the street. |

I met Kim West (friend of a friend) and she does a roaring trade. Her stuff is beautiful but expensive. I think it's fairly cool to wear whatever you like if you have the confidence to carry it off.  |

Nice post. I'm an ardent rubberist and enjoy rubbering up when stepping out in public. Let's be honest - if you saw someone walking down the street in a latex catsuit you may think 'oh look at that naughty beggar' yet if mixed with riding boots and a long dress coat (reflecting my style) only the learned kinkster would really recognise...
So, snap on the latex and get walking. And don't forget that big, wide smile.  |

I love to see it when skin tight on a person, looks so erotic, yet when ive seen ppl on programmes that inflate it and look like tyres about to go bang...then nooo..it kind of ruins it for me x |

I can't blame mainstream fashion for wanting the "wet" look but it won't be taken well by most people. I have horses I wore my riding boots in town when I was pressed for time, the comments are disgusting, not untrue just inappropriate. wellies like my riding boots are function, the leather boots protect my legs when riding and rubber wellies keep your feet dry. when it is purely fashion, then people start to stare.
wearing pvc and leather has always been a bit alternative but made more acceptable by stuff like the matrix films as well as people realizing that it looks good, all we need is time. |

Was a couple at the local shopping centre just down the road. She was in latex on all fours being 'walked!' They are not allowed into the shopping centre now. However, I did see her waddling down the road with a spreader bar round her ankles. She made it to the hardware shop so can only assume the keys had been mislaid.
Anyway, what was the question? |

I am really surprised as where I live is near the countryside and lots of people do have horses. There's lots of horsey clothing to be seen around and nobody bats on eyelid. Maybe it is though because we are used to it and so many people have horses here. |

We love Sam to dress us in wet look latex leggings, very high heels and a glossy black vest top and go to lakeside or bluewater...
We get disapproving looks but we also see guys getting told off by wives... As well as very admiring looks from men and women... But we do it because it makes us both feel sexy! |
