went on nhs.com yesterday to find a pharmacy nearby that was open on a sunday evening. Put my postcode into the box and clicked search just like it said. Now i live just outside maidstone and the pharmacies are listed with the closest first. Top of the list was a chemist in gretna, 487 miles away and the furthest was 575 miles away. Did it again to check i did it right and a little map comes up with a you are here flag in the right place and a cluster of blue flags denoting chemists, all in bloody scotland. I've heard of cutbacks but surely that is ridiculous? |

I've had a look at nhs.com and it doesn't appear to be an official NHS website. It looks like a portal piggybacking on the idea that people will assume nhs.com is an official source of advice and info.
That fact it produces the names of chemists many miles from your location suggests those chemists have paid to be listed. |
