The right place |
I forced myself to sit through a whole episode once. I just kept thinking how did this get commissioned? I didn't laugh once.
One of my best friends laughs like a drain all the way through.

I find bits funny.. Because half my family is Irish.. And Mrs Brown reminds me of my Nana.. Right down to the hanky.. Except my Nana said 'feck off' a Lot more |

Love the programme i did think its innovative and original but lately as said on here its repeated laughs.
Guess its like "east enders" theres only so much you can do and laugh about before it gets boring and stale. |

Nope, it leaves me completely cold. However I am widely thought of as odd as I don't find The Office funny, it just annoys me and I am possibly the only person alive to not find Only Fools and Horses even vaguely amusing (including the falling through the bar, batman and robin and the chandelier moment).
Give me Blackadder any day. |

"Staggeringly, jaw droppingingly bad!"
This! ^^^
Can't stand it and fail to see what the big deal is...
How it keeps getting commissioned is beyond me!
Brendan O'Carrol was bad enough as a stand alone (rip off of Chubby Brown), but now he 'relies' on this drivel! Ughhh |

The office caught me off guard! I first watched it accidentally by flicking through the channels and it must have been 10 minutes through the program which I thought was a genuine documentary. I was thinking "WTF?".
It wasn't until the next day listening to Radio 5, that I learned what it was about.
I think the way it's filmed is genius and original.
The same with the Royle Family. To have a show focussed in one room with a family watching TV is the same.
I also love how peep show is filmed in first person. Very clever! |

"Nope.
Can't stand Miranda either, stupid rather than funny."
Now I like Miranda. Largely because I have an over-bearing mother who comes entirely without social filters and I'm a single lady of a certain age and I like to laugh at myself. I respond well to Bridget Jones for similar reasons. |

"Who finds Mrs Brown's boys funny?
"
Not me a few of my mates think it is hilarious but I just don't get it.Just a man dressed as a lady that swears to much if you ask me. |

I'm firmly entrenched in the I don't know why it's funny camp, but then a lot of modern supposed comedy I don't get either. Just give me a Jimmy Carr or Mickey Flannegan stand up routine and I'm happy. |

When I was at school my best friends mum was housekeeper for the local Father and believe me mrs Brown has nothing on her, typical Irish mother, always cooking something you weren't allowed to eat because it was for "himself" but she made the best soda bread in the world and I loved her to bits as she treated me like another one of the brood, so yes I have always enjoyed watching mrs Browns boys |

"For a few days in a third world country I had severe 'holiday tummy' (both ends folks).
For me, that episode was funnier than Mrs Brown's Boys"
Ok now I have that stuck in my mind!
Completely agree though it's awful |
