Guys, how does your success here (let's say in terms of replies, meetings, and sex) on Fab compare to other personals/dating sites or apps?
For me I have had drastically lower success on here (zero meetings in 4-5 months) whereas on other sites I reliably meet 50 or more women per year and have sex with around 40% of them.
I suspect that this is probably down to the even higher m:f ratio on here? Or simply the lower total population (only a dozen or so women in my local area).
Anyone else had the same results, or do some of you do better on here than elsewhere?

As my posts on other threads would say, not much. On Fabguys I get offers everyday but, don't want to catch anything or end up with a stalker so vet people very carefully. As for other sites in general, I'm yet to find one that doesn't charge the earth just read a message from someone who's just advertising another site. I like sex random people which I'm not getting yet someone else is benefiting from me paying a subscription. So, I've actually more luck with both fab sites than I have anywhere else. |

Well........ Iv had far better success with other none sex orientated sites .
Iv started wondering if one of the main aims of this site is so women originally on the none sex orientated site is to help filter out the players? |

same here, meets very rare maybe one a year on fabs, used to be much better about 4-5 years ago could get a meet easily but way too many males on here now.
another site if i wanted a meet that night guaranteed one, yesterday was chatting to about 8 different females, and two couples. even had one at 11pm call me asking me to come now or come in the morning.
rarely even browse profiles on fabs.

That wouldn't be good form, we're on Fab's own forum and I wouldn't want to recommend a competitor, but there are of course dozens of "dating" sites out there which are common knowledge.

A lot of women won't meet for NSA sex quite so close to home. They don't want to bump into shags in the supermarket and stuff.
Limiting yourself to 10 miles from home may not be helping. |

Oh pof I'm not looking for a casual thing Its rare I message folk on there and I have a reasonable amount of interest from ladies, a good profile is really worthwhile..

If you're youngish easy to get on with and relatively good looking you'd probably be better off on that other place that rhymes with cinder.
If you're none of those (I haven't looked at the profile so don't know) and if you struggle to put yourself across in typed messages or forum posts then I'd imagine you'd struggle with all the sites.
There are people here who clearly struggle to present themselves well or stand out via photos and messaging, and I don't know why they put themselves through it. Play to your strengths, people - if you're better in person than via a computer screen then you're always going to have more success in person. |

This is the only site I'm on for meeting up with ladies,
I have a much better success rate when I'm out on the town having a drink or a weekend away with the lads,
I guess the competition on here is just far to strong. |

This is by far the worst site for me lol every other site iv been on had loads of fun. A lot of them weren't even hook up sites. I hardly message anyone on here now or even browse a profile |

I've actually met nearly 200 women from the internet, haha - but that's over 7 years so far. Some years I've met 50+, others much fewer.
Yes it does take literally 1000s of messages, that's the reality of it. Just like in real life you have to somehow interact with 1000s of women before happening to catch some interest. Think of it as like being in a club and being implicitly rejected by every girl who doesn't show some kind of interest - that's 100s per night. |

I have no idea how many people I;ve met online. But I know I've sent far far less messages than you have, personally I think messaging people that there is a connection with pays dividends far mare than the scattergun approach of messaging anyone local in the hope you get a response |

I'm totally with you OP , too many males here not enough women, I don't think the women here are ignorant but more to the point of sick of all the same shit everyday messages, I understand that, but for me I get more luck and attention else where, its more hard work here to say a site for swinging/sex.
Don't get me wrong i've had some offers here but turned them down im not that despite. |

On one dating site in 4 odd years of use I had one date, averaging about 1 reply to every 40-50 messages.
On another dating app I had one date & 4 other dates cancelled less than an hour before meeting.
On fab I met lots of people as a single guy & 6 months ago met Mrs J & having a whale of a time.
Different sites for different folks I guess.

As an update - still no luck meeting anyone, haha! It's a funny place.
Whereas from other "normal" dating sites this year so far I've met 13 and had sex with 10 of them (with 2-3 months off in the middle, too), the majority on the first date.

More local men on here than another sex related site I was on. In fact tons more.
The money you pay here is a lot less than other sites too. But unfortunately you get fake profiles (male and female) on any site. |

I guess that most people come here after finding it from a search, rather than friends telling them about it. So they'd not have much inkling about the numbers imbalance.
Someone for everyone? Probably, though some will be more desirable to more people than others will be.
The other sites are potentially less honest than here, if you're pretending to be there for ltr rather than just sex. If I was a single guy I'd prefer this - and then work out how to use it for best results.
Imo it's better used in conjunction with off-site interaction, socials etc. But I think a lot of guys only want to tap on their keyboards and get some sex, like ordering pizza online.
If you want fairly vanilla fun and can always find it when you're out and about, I'd say to carry on doing that, using your looks and charm. If you're a little more deviant, then here ot a specialist site or club should work. That is if you're flexible and reactive enough to learn how to make best use of it.
If you're still doing the same thing here as when you started, whilst getting poor results, consider whether you've been slow on the uptake. If there were other men just like you here, what could they be doing differently and getting better results than you are? Would you fuck your clone if you were bi? |

Honestly going out to a pub or club is way easier to get laid than here or any other site. The advantage of here is, less complications and usually, but not always, the set is a lot better! |
