I noticed if your of a certain age or simply if you face does not fit individuals will make it clear to you on the forums. Age is constantly brought up soooo what ok your older than my mum blah blah blah I could be your son blah blah blah. People need to stop being so bitchy and touchy. I know I'm an extremely handsome and confident young wipper snapper but you don't need to hate me because I'm so great. Just be kind and address me as your master we will get along fine. Oh by the way I love older women they really know what they want

Not sure if this is a serious post or not but you seem to be conflating the issue of the alleged forum clique and peoples personal sexual preferences. I have never felt undermined on the forum due to age.

There are cliques here, but I don't think they are related to age .... some may well be because people know each other, but the tone of some people's posts to others is plain nasty. OP, you have to realise that for some of these people, fabs and the forums makes up most of their lives, then treat them with the respect they deserve for that .... I don't think certain people are even worth the time of the day, but I do like to see their reactions to some things, often very predictable. And sad .... I've just tried to hurry it along here.

I think age is less of an issue for ladies on here, firstly because they're the desired demographic, secondly because of emotional maturity.

There are plenty of younger guys on here that do well and are accepted because they're open minded and don't stamp their feet if they haven't got what they want after 5 minutes.

OP coming in and shouting the odds will get you absolutely nowhere. Chill out, enjoy the forums and be patient. Its taken me over 2 years to get to the point I'm at now

People can get on with each other without ostracising others and they can do that in private ... its akin to lamppost passing, to be honest, or fawning around people to get a puck. We have only met a few people from the forums, but we dont necessarily agree with all or any of their posts ... there is such a thing as a forum persona which may not be what the person is like in real life ...

The forum 'cliques' are a figment of everyone's imagination.

As in any area of life, some people you get on with and some you don't.

The supposed cliques are in fact just groups of people who tend to get on well, like each others posts and have a similar attitude to the forums.

That's just human nature to make friends with your kind of people.

Make no effort or be objectionable on here and you'll make different friends to me

I think the dynamics of a swingers forum aren't really comparable to the dynamics of an office

But your analogy works both ways. If you had a new person in your office who was deliberately antagonistic or argumentative or proactive would you really point the finger of blame at your staff or suggest that the newbie look at their part in the reaction they are getting.

Cliques exist on every forum, it's the nature of the beast and it's not a purely negative thing. Equally people need to realise that nit everyone will like them and that in a forum of 100s of contributors no one is going to initially notice a newbie let alone welcome them with open arms. That's not because they are ignored and certainly not because they are being bullied, it's just how forums work

We've had people bring up our age before, we've been here since 21. If someone has a problem with our age that's their issue, after all it's not like we can change it.

I've been on and off here for 7 years now ..

I can see the point of _iew on both sides - as a newbie back again I can see what could be perceived as a ' clique '. It is in fact just a bunch of people who post everyday. You are always going to get the odd few who ignore or become intentionally confrontational to appear like king or queen of the castle but hey .... It's all like one big soap opera to me

I'd say we're pretty welcoming of anyone other than complete tosspots if you have the patience to stick around!

No,what is a 'bit sad' is when people don't make new people very welcome.Its something I will not tolerate in my Office as it constitutes a form of bullying.

I think the dynamics of a swingers forum aren't really comparable to the dynamics of an office

We have a clique at work ... people who see the more social side but aren't actually good at doing their job. If you join the clique you get in and are accepted. I just ignore it and avoid them because I have more personal integrity and can think for myself. Friends is one thing, having to agree with and pander to everything someone in your group says is quite another.
