If you have a good healthy and balanced diet then you should have all the precursors needed by your body to produce the hormones and all the other biochemicals needed for good health, including neurotransmitters, for mental health etc.
Our body's endocrine systems are finely balanced miracles. If we had increased production of one hormone then it would likely be quickly brought back to a required level. Our hormones do fluctuate - ask us or be with some of us at that time of the month or during menopause. Changes happen, within certain parameters or when our bodies have different needs.
I think you'd be better off undertaking some form of exercise, if you'd like to increase testosterone. There are many who can point you towards what to do etc.
If you feel deficient, you could potentially have your levels tested. And if your diet is poor, you should be able to rectify that within a few days. Tons of supplements will create the fears that you're possibly deficient. But for the majority of guys they can be ignored. |
