How do you generally deal with incessant whiners?
Y'know ,the type that go on and on and on about a particular (usually very trivial) matter , ad nauseam?
Is it impolite to tell them to fuck up and grow a set or should one bite their tongue and indulge them, endlessly?  |

I'll give them a few chances to stop whining,by offering solutions to whatever problem they're whining about.....or saying things like "it could be worse/it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!"
Failing that and depending on who it is and my relationship to them I'll either walk away so I don't have to listen to their pish or tell them to shut the fuck up! |

I would give an opinion but I don't want to indulge you. but I'm going to "Grow" a set and tell you in your own words to "fuck up" and stop moaning about people moaning. xxx |

I look at them and nod sympathetically. I'm the whinger at the moment though,with my aches and pains and grandchildren driving me mad. I walk around muttering to myself and my family ignores me. |

I was only pulling your leg hun, I just stop reading something if I find it doesn't interest me or it's just someone having a moan, whine,rant or chant but I don't get annoyed by it either. We are on a public forum and we still have the freedom of speech so If certain Fab members want to let off some verbal steam/diarrhoea (not my opinion here I'm just generalising)in a post let them crack on avoid clicking on the thread which are sometimes quite clearly titled Rant,Moan,Whine or Chant you just scroll past said post and find something more to your liking to read instead.

It depends who or what it is, if its serious then tea and sympathy, try and find a solution. If not then a very direct 'put your grown up pants on and do something about it instead of bothering me' approach is employed |

I tend to sit and listen ...offer advice if they ask but if they go on and on..I get bored very easily and switch off...it can get tedious if that's all you hear. |
