Has anyone or does anyone have any upcoming ops and how will it affect your fab life? I'm currently day 4 post knee op and I am bored beyond belief! I was thinking it would be a good time for some socials but I'm just not feeling it with the old stick at the moment! Plus the pain is pretty bad and the pills just turn me into a fluffy bumbling idiot that can barely string a sentence together! And I'm not sure a potential meet would want to be wiping drool off my chin while I miss my mouth with my coffee (those that know me know its a big mouth)! Anyway just looking to see how others have coped? I love reading the forums but rarely post so I thought it would be a good one to start me off in here! |

Pretty much house bound as I can't drive yet and I'm meant to be resting as Much as poss! I just thought it would be a good time to catch up on fab as I've got the time. Do some posting in the forums get to know some people ask some questions! I'll be back to my real life as soon as I can x |

I'm awaiting an op to have my gall bladder removed 
As I have gall stones
I'm on the waiting list
I can see it will put me out for a bit  depends how my recovery will be after having key hole surgery

Maybe chat to people with an idea of meeting in a couple of weeks? It would be a good time to go looking for people that interest you. Something to look forward to when you're more mobile.  |

Currently recovering from surgery and have 2 more ops coming up.
Taking an indefinite break from fab meets but like to read the forums now and again.
Good luck and get well soon to all others having or recovering from surgery.

Waiting to see if I need an operation to remove some debris from one of my eyes, so not sure what the after effects but I think it will kerb a lot of things. |

Cheers guys I have been chatting to ppl and with a view to meet when I'm better but as u know a lot soon lose interest if u can't meet now! Or I don't invite them round to look after me!! At least it gives me time to see who the genuine and patient peeps out there and in the mean time I'll just mooch around the forums x |

For me.ive had two op first was a bilateral torsion twisted testicle ouch then had one last monday to have it removed so no meets.for me tile march at the earliest pain is too much but very body is different juat do what you feel like

Broke my wrist in June with the help of another fab member. lol. Find out Wednesday when the operation will be.
I went to the club with my arm in a cast so definitely didn't stop me. Lol.

It won't put you out for long, recovery is about 2 weeks  |
