Next to my front door I have an umbrella bucket in which I keep umbrellas and the kids toy swords and various avengers weapons. I've just realised that must look rather strange to the casual visitor.

What dear forumites do you do that, upon reflection, isn't the most 'normal' of practises?

That all appears to.be quite normal, umbrella, look out see its raining, grab brolly.

Kids swords, 86% of dragon sightings happen within 15 meters of your front door, your kids are just prepared.

And also you never know when Loki will make a sudden appearance

Must smell rank .

Should always dry an umbrella first. As you'd know if you're ever near some being opened !

My umbrella stand actually has real swords, and fencing swords, and a cricket bat. There wasn't really anywhere else to put them.

I keep my wrestling figures sitting on the arms of my candelabra.

I sometimes put them in silly poses. I can't find Randy Orton and suspect he's under the bed.

polo mints along the window sills...very persistent wasps nest nearby...and despite my gales of sceptical laughter at the idea...it actually works!

I used to have armour on shelves around the front room, pole-arms stacked next to the bookshelf and sidearms hanging on pegs on the wall. I thought it was perfectly normal, various salesmen seemed to think otherwise.

Is that one of their Thor's hammer umbrella bucket toys you're posing with in your pics?

Our house has tons of maps up everywhere. Maps of each county in England, an English Heritage map, a National Trust map, a scratch-off map of the UK, a scratch-off map of the world, etc.

We like them because we travel a lot and are always looking for places we haven't been. But others must think we are fucking weird.

I have blackout blinds on my bedroom window, but I also put up one solitary curtain. Well, you've got to have something to wipe your cock on when you've finished.
