Is it worth watching? Is it a spin off from interstellar when they leave him on that planet?

I watched Martian last night. I enjoyed it, thought it was a good film. I've never seen Interstellar so wouldn't know about that one.

Not a spin off and not similar no. It's an interesting film. Definitely worth a watch.

Seen both films, enjoyed both of them. Martian has more of a comedy element with some of the thoughts that Matt Damon's character has although apparently this is more evident in the book.

Good film. Well Worth a watch but read up on the gravity, atmosphere and weather of Mars first. Some scientific holes in the story.

Very, best thing since Apollo 13.

No, not connected, the clue is in the name Martian.

Yeah I watched it last night. Whilst it's a good film I don't think it'd Scotts best work

First film we've watched in a long time. I don't have high hopes but I absolutely loved it. I thought the humor was fantastic.

Its very good.

If you have a local Cineworld, they are showing it in IMAX 3D on the 27th of Feb and its only £3.

(They are also showing Gravity, Max Max and Jurassic World - all in IMAX and all for £3 a ticket)

Wouldn't want to see it at the cinema a second time loses its magic when you know what happens. I just need to see more screenings.

Matt Damon has a varied character list in film

Invictous plays the S. African rugby captain

The Departed plays a bent dectective

The Bourne Series no humour involved like The Martian has

I could go onbut he's hardly Vince Vaughn in terms of playing the same character

Read it. The book is excellent, a real cliffhanger.

The acting in the movie is cold and wooden. It does not convey the emotion or the tension of the story. Liam Neeson? Pants.

Wait til you can see it for free.
