Finished work yesterday decided to start painting.. wish I never bothered.
Like a muppet I'm trying to paint over black wallpaper rather than strip it, using a primer and it's taking forever! |

I know, when I was buying the paint sub consciously I knew I should strip the paper! However I think with perseverance and lager late this afternoon it'll start coming along lol

Too late now lol I spent 40.00 on a primer by bin zubadubalob or something haha its excellent, goes on like glue but it's a mother yucker trying to cut in! |

Its like treacle.... Well at least you using the best of stuff. I commend you for that. Zinzer primer is shelac based so you brushes and roller will be fucked. Hope you got some throw aways lol.
Decorator by the way not a no it all c#nt..

FANTASTIC right ok 3 questions (if you don't mind)
1 the primer is like runny water although obviously on the walls it sticks.. how can I cut in with it?!
2 I MAY HAVE dripped paint on the scurting board... is it to late to get it off now?
3 how comes when it's wet it looks un even however drys even?! |

1.. Perseverance. Or masking tape only way m8. Unless you want to spend £10 on a brush too throw away.
2. What it on the boards now. Stain, varnish ect? Poss to late.. Let it dry And rub with 120 sandpaper. Turps won't work as its shelac based. Would need thinners to remove..
3. One of life's mysteries m8 lol.. It's just the shelac drying out of the pigment. Looks very milky but dries solid. It's an amazing product. Great for dampness. Stain removal ect....
If you haven't got paint yet and have a dulux centre close by. I would happily arrange the paint at a discount for you... |

No couldn't do it for a living!! I enjoy picking the colours and all the girly stuff and I know it will look good when it's done but actually doing it is frustrating lol |
