"I think Sabine will be really good. She made a few cameos on the old top gear and is an incredible driver and seems to have a good personality/presenting style."
Yes I like her too she can drive a tranny van |

I can only imagine they need so many presenters to appeal to the delirious US market who have the attention span of a gnat. It'll allow them to switch between reviews quicker and put more ad breaks in. |

In ten years’ time the old Top Gear crew will be like those Prog Rock bands from the 70's. Everybody remembers the now fat and sad ex guitarist and the bands he was in but cannot remember the bassist or keyboard player.
Hammond and May? Aren't they that firm of solicitors in the high street?

Keep seeing "Die hards" moaning about abd running down the new show before they even seen it.
I was the biggest Too Gear fan of them all. Been in the studio numerous times and a big Clarkson fan (I once delivered so donkeys to his house, but that's another story) but, it's finished now so I wish people get over it.
The new one will not be the same and nor should it be.
If it was just a new motoring show rather then "The New Top Gear" everyone would think it was a great line up but as it is my face book page is full of people moaning about it!
Sabine will be great and Matt LeBlancs self effacing antics will make some great tv as Thur exploit the whole "its Joey from friends driving a Lamborghini round a little village" angle |

I'm with you on that. People need to let go of the old show and judge the new show on it's own merits when it starts and not compare the two. I'm sure they will change the format sufficiently to prevent that from happening. Good luck to the new line up, I too was a top gear fan and I was prior to Hammond and May coming on the scene. Like you say, people should treat it as a totally new show and see how it goes and let the old top gear rest in peace. |

My initial thought was the New line up stands a reasonable chance of putting on a decent show,,,,
But even though it shouldn't really matter or have any baring on the value they will bring to the show,,,
I can't help but feel the BBC let us down a bit if they really thought the best option was to employ a trio with an estimated combined wealth in excess of 500 million quid,,,
What's wrong with giving new talent a break,,, |

Anything has to be better that the knob Clarkson and the two clowns.
They just made the whole thing beyond a joke, just a laughing stock...
So far, of the new lot, the only one who really knows anything about cars, or driving is Sabine...
Eddie Jordan knows a bit about racing... |

Line up is so much better already, clarkson was so full of himself and egotistical. Never used to watch it after my initial curiosity about the last few series. |

This latest iteration of Top Gear is effectively Fifth Gear. And I suspect Clarkson, Hammond and May's Amazon show will be a big, overproduced affair that will will fail to recapture the old Top Gear charm.
Top Gear from 2005-2011 was a golden age. |

"Eddie Jordan ran his own racing team and discovered Michael Schumacher. I think he knows more than a little bit"
I'm confidently predicting we won't be seeing him hurtling around in a soft top with the top down. |
