Not even chocolate since I fret

We forget our wedding anniversary every year. Last year we didn't even realize we forgot it until my in laws asked us if we had done anything special.

Yeah i don't get one unless I've been with a partner who feels they have too and its my grandads birthday and parents anniversary so an expensive day for me ?? |

Homemade stuff is much more my thing. That's why I'm doing the Valentine's Fairy thing... putting some thought in doesn't need a lot of money and whilst it shouldn't just be for one day a year, I'm an old romantic and do silly nonsense all year round, it's nice to share some love. There's too much misery in the world at the best of times, we can make our own happiness along the way. |

I'm glad it's not just us. I only remembered when my mum sent me a text to say "happy anniversary...and did you get the card?". Luckily hubby and i had both forgotten so i didn't feel so bad. Although i did get in first and made him feel bad for forgetting it for a little while  |

I'm not a valentiner. Mr M and I have no desire to spunk our money on expensive meals and flowers. Not even a card because we're cool for that. Instead we're out on this piss (separately) with our respective single pals and then when we meet on the dancefloor at stupid o'clock we will snog like horrible horny teenagers. Standard valentines fun. |
