I don't put them up. I think they're pointless and a waste of money.

From my children and partner - forever everyone else a week is long enough to remind me I'm a year older

Ideally a week, two weeks

Realistically FOREVER, seeing out their existance stored away in unusual places, because one day i might want to look back and say, theres that googly eyed monkey card that made me nearly think about laughing

A couple of days. Usually until the nearest weekend when I get around to tidying - cleaning properly and can be arsed to getting around to removing them

Usually a week or longer, special ones get kept, well they all get kept then about every five years they get sorted out.

All my cards and gift tags and wrapping paper from my 50th are in a special box

As long as it takes to get over being a year older.... then put them in a box, I've kept all birthday cards for about 20 years.
