Has anyone seen the news about what this guy has been accused of? So far I have only seen the story in one (online) news outlet.
The story seems to have been completely ignored by mainstream media, got me thinking is the story being buried by the powers that be? |

"It's in the BBC news... not that that counts for much but it's there all the same. "
That's something then, I had only seen any mention of what he is accused of in one online news source, just looked like his big brother may have been helping to suppress the story!
Can't wait to see what happens to the little maggot (assuming the accusations are true of course). |

" Why is he a maggot? Whatever we think of politicians and integrity how can we call him that until he's found guilty?"
Hes been struck off so there must be something behind it, you don't loose your job over an allegation, they usually suspended you pending the hearing, to be struck off means they know more than they are telling yet |

He isn't a politician, his brother is. In my opinion he is a maggot as he has already been proven to have provided false prescriptions to both his wife and his prostitute. The latest set of accusations against him are even worse, again as I said assuming they are true it would make him very worthy of the status of maggot. |

Just more proof that the powerful rely on dirt to unite as much as they do to divide.
Dodgy Dave with his dick in a dead pig, Osborne's brother with his dick in a care patient. I wonder if they're close! |

Not sure I'm allowed to post links in here so prob best to google it. Some pretty shady breach of professional standards from what has been reported. |

He admitted an inappropriate relationship with a vulnerable patient. That is bad. He was struck off which was appropriate. We don't know and never will the whole human circumstances. I can't help but feel that it is too easy sometimes to take the moral high ground without knowing the circumstances. |

Honestly calling someone a maggot when you know absolutely nothing about them apart from what had appeared in the press report
Why not post this about every wrongdoer that appears in today's press
You've only posted this because of who his brother is, which has absolutely no bearing at all upon this story |

Again as I have said assuming that what is reported is true, he also threatened her to withdraw her statement.
Fully agree we shouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing the full story, but from what his own defence stated and emails that have been released it doesn't look good for him |

Not at all, I saw the story and wondered why only one (that I could find) paper had reported it. It seems that many news outlets have now picked up the story. Regardless of who is brother is what he is accused of is pretty shocking behavior for someone who is in his position. |

Yes you are right, it has no bearing. But humans being what they are, the fact that it is the UK chancellor's brother means that more people are interested than if it was you. |

I'm fairly sure lots of people have brothers and some of those brothers will be decent human beings and some won't, and I'm pretty sure sharing a gene pool is no reason to suspect siblings will act and behave with similar integrity or compassion etc....
My brother is an absolute tosser.....
He's not my biggest fan either.. |

I don't think there are any circumstances that makes it OK for a psychiatrist to have sex with a patient, she was in a vulnerable state of mind, even if she came onto him she was the patient who had mental health problems he should have said no and referred her to maybe a female psychiatrist |

Most people until today would have assumed that George Osborne's brother was the decent one. |

I would imagine most people were blissfully unaware George even had a brother .......

I agree that boundaries were crossed and he got what he deserved. What we will never know are the full circumstances that might (or might not) make us feel a little more sympathetic towards him.
The fact that he is the chancellor's brother is neither here nor there. |

This wouldn't even have been reported in any news outlet (apart from maybe medical or local news) was he not related to George Osborne.
It's not George Osborne's fault his brother has done what he is, they are entirely different people after all. |

But he is - and so it was."
Yes it has been, but to suggest someone has tried to bury a story because of this? |

Oh dear, not a very good doctor.
It is covered in the news, probably more than it would be were he a psychiatrist who didn't have a famous brother.
He got the ultimate sanction, struck off and quite right. Been warned before over the prescription thing so end of job, good. Nothing to do with his brother though.
Lots of vulnerable people in psychiatry, no excuse that's why it's a separate offence altogether if the patient is on a section of the MHA. She wasn't hence not a criminal matter but a professional one. Good riddance! |

This.
Clearly he is in the wrong as he was struck off but to judge him purely on his brother, come on.
Surely by being struck off its demonstrates proper due process moreso than anything else |

Another conspiracy for me to bust?
If you spell his name correctly, and google Osborne's brother, you'll find mosy of the papers have been covering it for days. Even the Kidderminster Shuttle. The Torygraph 'hid' it on the front page!

Do you know if such decisions get published? I am not interested in the same but I know that with other professions such as solicitors they get published and often the decisions include the mitigation arguments |

No, I don't know and I am not sure that I would care too much. If there were any detail anyway, it would only be the detail presented. The guy did wrong and got buggered for it. I was merely presenting the point of view that, maybe, despite being a bugger, the overall picture might have presented itself in a more forgiving light, or not. |

Indeed it is now, when I had looked earlier I could only see one news outlet that had reported it and when I said it was being buried it was meant as Tounge in cheek. I don't understand these emoji things so rarely use them. Perhaps I should learn. |

"Didn't even get 30 seconds mention"
It is a doctor getting struck off the register. Given what is going on in the world, it is small beer.
George Osborne is a total Jeremy Hunt but his Brother also being a bell end is not of any political significance. |
