Sly Stallone is actually a very fine actor (despite being sidelined into a moribund career of action movies) and will finally win his first Academy Award for acting for a poignant, heartbreaking performance in Creed. Fave Sly perfs please peops...Yo!

I thought his performance in Cop land was quite good. Rather than the usual muscle bound types he plays, he put on quite a bit of fat to play a small town cop.

Creed was excellent. Stallone did a good job in the previous film, Rocky Balboa, too. Surprisingly moving and inspiring film, if you've ever lost anyone close to you and had to carry on.

Was looking at Sylvester Stallone films. Cliffhanger and Judge Dredd got a thumbs up from me but can't say I have a favorite from him

Stallone is not a bad actor but i would not put Creed up there as one of his best, its an Ok film.

I think he will be more likely to win one in the future as a director

Can't say I've seen an improvement in his acting since 'The Party at Kitty and Studs'. Daniel Day Lewis an actor with a gifted amount of ability, Stallone isn't anywhere near that league, I'd be truly astonished if he receives an award for Creed which in my opinion was poor.

Creed was pretty standard but not worthy of an Oscar. Perhaps he does deserve one for his past work and longevity as an actor/writer.

If he wins one it won't be a traversty.

Prob one of his best films with Ray n Rob... We think it's a brilliant movie and is much overlooked as people are so used to his action stuff...

He got recognition at the Globes for his work which was rightly deserved... love or hate him his Hollywood success spans a few decades...
