So come on all you curry lovers...

What's your favourite dish ?

And do you go for rice, vegetable sides or breads and snacks ?

I'm partial to a lamb saag (spinached roan josh) and bombay potatoes

I tend to make ma own, even tho there's about 4 restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Beef Buffad is my speciality, there's lots of ingredients and preparation, but it's worth it in the end

Poppadoms to start with all the pickles.

Lamb dhansak, mushroom pilau and peshwari Naan.

I'll curry favour and add to the thread in a non noun and noun way.

I actually go for something different everytime I go to the curry house.

I rather enjoyed a chicken dopiaza last time.

Onion bahgis make the cut everytime though.

Indian summer from my local its chicken in a hot sauce with a layer of melted cheese on top

Now i know what your thinking but they do compliment each other its gorgeous

Not a fan of curries,though we did have one last night for tea.don't know the name,was citrusy with coconut and spices.was ok,but the as I say I'm not a big fan.I do like the nan bread and bagis.if we are out with friends and they fancy a curry house I usually choose something bland like tandoori chicken.

Poppadoms with the mint sauce preferably.

A saag or a pathia with some rice and if I'm extra greedy a naan although I enjoy chapattis too.

I often have cold curry for breakfast.

The problem with curry is that often the spices are used simply to hide poorer quality meat.

So when people say 'curry' I always think 'fat'

In a restaurant normally a contemporary, at home I use phal curry paste with a generous helping of some very chili sauce.

Poppadoms with choice if dips, chilli pickle, mint or mango chutney.

Then for main either a chicken vindaloo or chicken madras or jalfrezi with plain boiled rice and a naan bread.

I'm a madras girl. I like em hot.

Although lately I've been having a tikka cause it comes with similar sauce.

If I'm cooking it, it's always a madras.

With a garlic naan and mango chutney... the runny stuff with no lumps. I must try and make some of that. I really like mango but not in lumps in chutney. Sets my teeth on edge.

Gotta love a Thai jungle curry.

Also a good tandoori mixed grill and Karahi chicken. Had a Nepalese curry not long ago, that was good.

Not forgetting the all important lager to wash it down!!

I think my favourites are the mild creamy ones like Chicken Korma or Chicken Passanda. Been liking to have naan bread instead of rice recently

Not been out for a curry or had take away for years. Discovered Tesco's "take away" range a month or so ago - the korma is nice with some Asda garlic naan bread
