Essex.

They have a close button too!!!

Morning rant...

I hate it when people get on a train on a cold day, leave the door open and go and sit in the furthest corner from the door...

Press the fucking close button it's not hard, you dressed and got yourself to the station. You are capable of pressing one more button...

They'll only be open for about 30 seconds before the guard closes them anyway. Take it easy and chill...... pun intended.

Someone's grumpy

Worst experience I had on a train was when a woman gave me her baby to look after

The seat next to me was free, I don't think she spoke good English and beckoned to the seat and I said sure of course, then proceeded to place the kid down and walk off to the back of the train to where her luggage was.

Came back about 5 minutes later....what's worse is the kid was climbing up and I'm trying to control this curious toddler who now wants to climb on me.

Still leaves me bewildered

Your door problem doesn't seem that bad now does it

Try being stuck on a train where the dammed doors WONT close! Stuck at a station for 25 minutes while an engineer was called to sort the doors before we could move of again....twice this has happened now on the Blackpool to Manchester service shit crappy trains we have up north here!

If it involves a tram full of Man U supporters using the roof as percussion while singing (frankly) disgusting songs about Arsen Wengers sexual predictions, I'd believe anything you say.

Worst. Tram ride. Ever.

Unfortunately a couple of the stops are about 5 minutes...

Next time go and sit in the furthest corner from the door, so their seat will already be taken and they will have to sit closer to the door.

little house on the praire

Well I've never thought to close a train door behind me, if someone choices to sit in a seat closest to the door when their are other available seats, then tough

on the road to nowhere in particular

Idiots on the underground racing to get on on the train as the doors are closing and getting their backpacks stuck on the outside. Dangerous beyond belief and all to save a 90 second wait for the next one

At that time in the morning it doesn't make much difference where you sit... The carriage would stay warm if people closed the doors after themselves... But obviously having a bit of consideration for others is too much to ask for now a days...

Anyone else used to leave the train and press the close button while your friends are behind you ?, if timed just right they'd be stuck in the middle without being able to move or press the open button. Used to be a regular thing between me and my mates

Got the train today and kids from school was doing this.

I have never even though of pressing the close button. And to be honest I wont be doing anytime soon. So I close my door ? what about the one the other end of the carriage? or am I expected to close that one as well

Worst experience I've had was a guy who spilt his bottle of poppers over the table.

I was in a window seat with a lady opposite me, he was sat next to her. He was already off his face on something and dancing to the music in his headphones. He was sniffing away at his bottle of poppers then by accident knocks it over, the smell is just awful! Thankfully the train wasn't busy so I could change seat.

I've also been on a train journey that should have taken an hour and a half that instead took 6 hours due to 'bad weather' and 'engineering on the line'.
