There use to be a rock club in Bristol back in the 70's called the Grannery... it was an awesome place to go,

In fact hells bells are a bristol band and play a lot in that region.

they are brilliant. endorsed by Phil's mum, no less, always a great night. Was lucky enough to see Lizzy in 1983 still remember it vividly now

In Bristol you could also try..

The fleece and firkin.

The crown pub in St nicks market.

The hatchet pub on trenchard St.

The stag and hounds pub and the club upstairs in old market host loads of bands these days.

I believe that the tunnels club under temple meads station and motion club behind the station has gigs and club nights also.
