Guys are always saying they can't get verifications I'm happy to meet one Saturday afternoon and give him a verification. Doesn't matter what he looks like just clean and presentable and on time

So it's not just me that has dropped my expectation levels on fab? It shows the lack of genuine prospects on here when a verification is to be considered worthy

really, there are plenty of guys that say not having a verification hinders them and indeed some people will only meet verified people. So yes plenty of people do see it as worthy. Personally I don't but if your compatable with someone and the only reason your not compatable is because you don't have a verification then I'm happy to help

I, the fem, would also do this on saturday morning local to me.

I will turn my filters off as i would prefer people to messege me otherwise i might forget !!!!

I am out saturday morning anyway and will stop for a coffee so i am happy to meet for a coffee and chat and i will give you a verification if you turn up on time, are clean and respectful. Only a coffee and chat though.

I very rarely meet unverified men! I want to know that they look like their pictures, that they turn up when they say they will, and they're likely to be safe to be with!

A verification is no guarantee of that but it helps!

The op - and now a few others - are simply offering a few guys a helping hand on the fab ladder! Where, pray tell, is the harm in that?

I very rarely meet unverified men! I want to know that they look like their pictures, that they turn up when they say they will, and they're likely to be safe to be with!

A verification is no guarantee of that but it helps!

The op - and now a few others - are simply offering a few guys a helping hand on the fab ladder! Where, pray tell, is the harm in that?

When you look at some verifications and at who has done the verifying it can have the opposite effect of making you feel they are 'safe', I mean user joined 2 weeks ago has got 24 verifications from a lot of the less choosy fabbers, how the hell can that user be safer than a user with no verifications?

my comments on this thread do not take anything away from your kind offer,I am simply pointing out the verification system can work both ways as for me, more verifications = not who I am looking for but some have the opposite view that more veris = genuine. At the end of the day we are all individuals with some unique traits and some common traits,the verification system is intended to help you filter those unsuitable for you and so if it helps then that is fine.

Now apart from that being a little condescending and patronising, clean and tidy, supposing said guy has already been given a bunch of verifications but they were bad ones due to lets say, dubious sexual behaviour or whatever and has chosen to hide or not accept them, then who is this verification going to help? Certainly not his next vict... sorry, meet. I understand you're doing it with good intentions but sorry, I don't get it and in many ways makes a mockery of the verification system, which frankly is a bit of a farce anyway

if theyve already been verified they have a green tick whether they show it or not. Now what is the verification for if not to prove the person is how they say they are.

You cant reject a verification, once one is sent to your profile its automatically accepted. You can however not display it which everyone has right to not display if they choose.

As soon as you receive a verification a green tick icon appears on your profile, you cant hide that green tick, so other members know you have received a verification

Equally, you could meet someone that has 50 great verifications, doesn't make them a safe person, they could still do something bad

The verifications can work both ways though.

Personally i dont bother with recent verifications anyway but i was happy to help a guy get one which would show he was real and the age he says plus that he turns up
