It's Monday - how's the diet doing?

Jump to: Newest in thread

I've just weighed and lost 4lb this week. I'm pleased as the first 2 weeks were slower than I expected so it's averaging itself out. 6/7lb a month would be brilliant and I'm on course for that now.

How is everyone else doing? x

no diet here, just been discharged from weight management, I've to concentrate on my other health problems as they're more important.

Well last night I ate bourbon pulled beef, chili sliders, sweet potato fries and vanilla an Oreo cheesecake...yes I went full american for the super bowl.

Not sure how many calories that chalks up but I'm starving again now so may go full American again, any one fancy pancakes? I've got real maple syrup too

little house on the praire

I'm making a conscious effort to stay of the scales as they are not moving.

But when every jumper I've bought for the last few weeks is a size 8 I'm not complaining

I'm not on a diet per se, but after dinner on Friday Marc and I were still hungry to we ordered pizza from pizza hut. And it just made sense to get the deal...so we got garlic bread, cheesy fries, chicken strips, and Pepsi, too.

I may be on a diet next week.

Cardio before breakfast will move that mate, no need for diets. Hit the road for a couple of miles a day or your local swimming pool....

The second being the best option, less damage to your joints and ligaments.

I'm not doing too bad, not seeing much difference on the scales but I'm suddenly getting loads of compliments on my weight loss, so I'll take that.

My weigh in is tonight, not sure if I've lost anything even though I've been good. I'll try not to be too downhearted if I haven't

I'm starting back again today. Very depressing as was doing so well. Not even got back on the scales but started a walking plan... And we shall see. Not looking forward to walking on this but not being put off by the weather as If I only walked when it was dry I'd never get started x

It's the 5/2 here...really enjoying it...Not weighed myself though but feel much better and will notice more of a difference soon as it has only been three weeks...

Good luck with whatever you are all doing

Are we still doing this diet thingy? I'd better get started. First thing I should do is find a set of scales.

As I couldn't post for most of yesterday I couldn't say but somehow (despite a crappy week food wise) I lost 2lb last week so on target for the half stone I've set myself for month end! Woohoo!

Great work OP and others, keep up the good work!

I've lost 10lbs in total plus a bit I lost between Christmas and New Year, so I'm overall fairly happy with how it's going. Would always prefer it to be faster but I haven't overly deprived myself to be honest, and I've been pretty rubbish at getting to the gym.
