I love to chat on here, I mean specifically in the forums. Or rather via messages prompted my posts on the forums. I think the expectations are different on here. Messaging folk instantly puts them in a potentially negative mindset when dealing with a single man. On here, you can simply be yourself and folk, without expectations, look into your words for the personality behind them.
I'm not suggesting the ladies and couples don't have reason to be like that. I suppose, if anything, it's simply a reminder to those pushy, inconsiderate single men that there are some very lovely people on here, and their time is tarnished by the unreasonable behavior of a large proportion of ignorant, selfish men who don;t really get the concept of what the site is actually all about. But I think that perhaps this post is pretty pointless, because how many of these profiles actually use the forum I wonder?? Such is life. |

You might be surprised to hear that our time here is not tarnished by "ignorant, selfish men." If we receive an unwelcome message, so what? Delete and block. We are quite able to look after ourselves. |

I  lots of single men. Both in the forums and not. People are capable of ignoring who/what they don't like and still engaging with those they do.
