I recently brought something for the first time on amazon. The item isn't ad described and want to send it back. How do I go about claiming the postage back please?

Id say contact the vendor from the details inside the parcel, they'd be able to help

I didn't think you could get the postage back. Just a refund for the item.

I had an amazon delivery yesterday. I was out and they left a note saying it was left under my dad's pickup wheel arch! !!

Depends if it came from amazon or through amazon. Just go to your account purchase history. It's quite straight forward.

I was sent a phone case that was wrong before Christmas, getting a refund was quite straight forward. Just a few mouse clicks.

I had this yesterday, the item arrived damaged, I couldn't complete the returns form online for some reason (wouldn't go past step two), emailed customer services, 9am this morning a replacement arrived! Couldn't ask for better service, the item was from Amazon themselves though rather than through them, and the replacement has arrived with a pre paid returns label for the damaged item.

If in doubt, email them

. Should people really expect refunds of the cost to return goods ?. If you use a high Street retailer , they would not refund your bus fares or petrol costs for driving back..

The goods aren't as advertised so I think it's only fair they refund my postage.

It's a bit different than going into a store and purchasing the goods don't you think.
