I use it all the time.
I make notes on who has contacted me before, if I declined or not. What I thought about them, etc. Because the nature of this site sometimes means you lose contact and reconnect with people.
I don't like blocking people, and I like to have a good reason if I do. Most of the time it'll be because someone has contacted me more than twice, and the way I know that is through the notes I make in their profile.  |

I use it all the time! Mostly for things that someone has said in forum/profile/chat that they might later regret (e.g. barebacking, married-and-cheating, acting like an idiot in chat). If I look at a profile and see that I've previously made a private note, that's a warning signal that I am 95% unlikely to meet them  |

"This guy frequents the forums on an almost daily basis, he doesn't meet very often, he's bisexual, he's married, he's very tactile, he's got a proper profile hidden away, he likes Star Wars and beer, he's trying to get fit, he's got a weird sense of humour, he's intelligent and witty with words but barely speaks as he hates the sound of his own voice and he's met more people that he's letting on. Yeah. Not really for forum stuff though. Mostly for people who contact us to meet. I just copy and paste messages so I can remember what's been said because the inbox is a joke

Whenever I notice a note I've made on a profile it usually says something like "this one's a right cunt" or something similarly helpful, so I can't remember what or why. |

Anything you say may be used against you in future messages. You have the right to consult your brain before speaking to me and to use it during conversation now or in the future. If you don't have a brain, You should locate one before any conversation commences,
I can already see it now replacing the Sydney university warnings

Mine serve the same purpose however, it is always in their own words, so it can't be disputed at a later date |

I use it all the time. I record when my messages are deleted without reply. Two deleted messages and I don't message again. Why two? Well, some people who have become good friends deleted the first message. Not sure if that was deliberate or by accident (clicking on delete all messages when not meant to).

Twice could be a mistake - I might have changed my profile/ pictures/ username/ title. But three times is just not paying attention to who you're messaging. Lol |

My memory is awful.
Most people who know me understand this and know I'm not being stupid/ignorant or whatever. But occasionally I use the notes feature to "remember" basic things about nice people who I chat to infrequently. |
