Carolina look very flat. Making so many silly mistakes. They just don't look sharp at all. I'm very surprised with how they've started the game.
I think Denver are going to be wishing they'd put more points on the board though. I expect Carolina to come out all guns blazing in the second half. |

Panther's performance was disappointing and Cam Newton should be embarrassed of his little drama queen temper tantrums! I did not want Denver to win (Chiefs should have been in the bowl!), but they were definitely the better team today!! |

as much as everyone will have a go at cam newton.... he didn't get any help from his RB's and WR's today........
the OC called a piss poor game in my opinion.... at some point you have to stop calling the run on 1st down if it didn't work!!!!! |

I have to say that I thought that there were quite a few calls (and missed calls) that went unfairly against the Panthers.
But fact is their offensive line was poor, their running backs failed to catch very catchable balls and their kicker set the tone by failing to make a bread and butter kick for a field goal in the first quarter.
So on balance the right team won in my view.

Agreed. The times when Cam got a chance to pass his recievers had butter fingers. But give credit to the Broncos DC. He figured them out and suffocated them. I feel that the Panthers O line could have been stronger too. |
