Picked up our new edition to the family last night, a ginger Tom kitten, we've called him Simon, he's come with two modes, hyperactive and sleep. Cutest thing ever though. Who doesn't love a fluffy kitten. |

"Tie a bit of rag to some string and throw it then pull it back they love to ambush it. Cheap and great fun.
L2"
We have tonnes of toys from previous and current cat, he does like the light pen, chasing the little dot everywhere |

I discovered that kitten claws (like needles) don't mix with leather furniture! |

We had a cat who was evil. He would sit on the stairs and try to slash your face through the bannister rails as you walked past, and lay in wait for the children to walk down the passage.
My daughter's cat is as docile as a lamb. It's a lucky dip when you get a kitten. |

Our cat is evil.... I came out of the bathroom yesterday to a full on attack from evil monster. I now have a leg that looks like I've been self harming.... Bloody thing!! |

I think its how you bring them up too!
Its the old nature/nurture debate, but in my experience a kitten would get pulled into line by its mum and other pride members when it played too rough.
Next time it goes too far- try mimicking what another cat would do by pinning it with your hand. Its teaching the cat that you are higher up in the heirachy, and you are reminding it of this x
That said- some cats are just wrong-uns! |

If I was you I would get him done quite a lot of vets will do a tom cat from around 12 weeks. X
He's just being a little playful and he hasn't got his mother to put him in line. try putting gardening gloves on and let him attack you and when he sees it's not hurting and your are not reacting to him he should calm down a little bit. Also carry a small water gun ( the little 1s u get in party bags ect) and if he attacks you just a quick squirt will make him think twice about it x |

Also if he scratching you when you rub his belly. A lot of cats don't like belly rubs. Or if your playing with him by moving your hand around near him his natural hunting instints kick in and he will try to kill your hand thinking it's prey. X |

I love kitten, well I love cats. The last one I had from a kitten is now 8.
But I'm all for the senior cats, itsl lovely to have a lovely kitten but I like to give them a home when they get old.
Doesn't mean I don't want cuddles with kittens |
