I seem to have a unknown thing for The Bill.. reason being I've seen two of the actors (one was standing next to me on a train station platform), saw a group of them filming a scene at a London train station and was in communication with another for a short while but he has since moved to Nigeria and now married .
I loved that TV series so all a big deal to me |

As you can imagine it was a rowdy Stag party but he was happy to banter and have photos taken - nice bloke! |

Yes he is. The guy that pretends to do everything while his team bust a nut!
Also (one for the parents here), we stayed in a hotel in Manchester in 2014 next to BBC studios and as we went down for brekkie I walked past a guy and said to Mrs "I swear that was Dr Ranj from cbeebies", and 30 mins later we were talking to Andy and Syd from cbeebies, and sitting opposite Mr Maker haha. |

I once pissed off one of S Club 7 and she did the whole "do you know who I am" thing with me. I didn't so she complained to my manager that I was bring deliberately insolent. It didn't cross her tiny mind that I genuinely might not have a clue who she was. Unfortunately for her my manager was about as clued up on popular culture as I was so he didn't have a clue who she was either which only made her angrier |

I don't really do random meets, more just walking past people at work (possibly more than I realise as I have no idea who some are)- did pass the lead singer of Black Stone Cherry in his PJ's recently- think he'd been for a pee (or something more chunky) and was going back to the tour bus.
Used to see Rat from Neds Atomic Dustbin in the pub- playing pinball
One total random was
"

You always see them when you're in London, it's difficult to go without seeing at least ONE celebrity.
My worst one was Ralph Fiennes, I almost emptied an entire bottle of water over him when the tube jerked. Luckily he jumped out of the way in time. He wasn't happy. |

I bumped into most of the cast of Emmerdale when I travelled daily through Leeds train station.
Had my pic taken with Vera Lynn (for my mum) when she visited the office I worked in while serving in the WRAF overseas.
Had a natter in a London pub with Terry Scott and June Whitfield.
Squeezed past The Real Thing on a packed train during their heyday in the late 70's. They were all fur coats and massive felt hats! lol
Larry Grayson used to frequent my aunts corner shop so I met him several times. |

I wouldn't say 'bumped into' but I was in London once in the mid 90s and saw princess Diana, I was also in Leicester Square when a premiere was happening and there was tom hanks right in front of me, didn't expect that!! And I bumped into Kevin mccloud from grand designs in the lift in a hotel in Cardiff, when I worked in a hotel on the M25 about 9 years back razor ruddock stopped and even though I reconigsed him I still asked for some ID as he paid with cash, we had Tony Adams stay too.

Seen and met a few celebrities but the best was about 30 years ago when I got on the London tube at Cockfosters, it was an empty carriage except one guy sitting at one end reading a motorsports magazine. I immediately recognised him...Murray Walker and we chatted all the way into the centre of London. He was a real gent, enthusiastic as ever about his sport and quite happy to speak to a 20ish year old scruff without any hesitation or prejudice, simply sharing a conversation with a fellow petrolhead (ironically on public transport).
