You have to do it at least once in your life. I had mine bright red for about a year and i absolutely loved it!!
The downside was everything ended up stained pink....clothes, bed linen, bathroom....and it takes a lot of maintenance to keep it vibrant i had to do mine once a week...although that will depend on how often you wash your hair. |

If you buy majicontrast in red and use a 30vol developer then you don't have to prebleach, mine was almost black (natural) before it. You can buy it all in Sally's and the finished colour is pillarbox red! |

Mine is the colour in the video from mid brown, I use Olia, haven't had to lighten my hair but some shades fade really quickly but Superdrug do a great tinted shampoo to give it a bit more colour before I re dye it. I've had every colour except green and haven't had my natural colour since I was 15 .... GO for it |

I've had a variety of colours (and styles) over the years but never quite got the 'red' hair that I wanted (I like coppery red hair) but thinking of having another go at it very soon |

"Red hair is very attractive and will certainly grab people's attention. I have always believed redheads have more fun but having seen you in action I am not sure that it will add to your fun "

I use Crazy Colour as a shampoo between colours. It's pretty effective. But stains badly - or well!
I found the pillar box red tough to keep up as it fades so quickly.
I agree though. Buy your own colours from Sallys. Majirouge Red is excellent. I used to mix it with 6.66 and use 9% bleach. Never needed to pre lighten.
