I LOVE Engelberg, try to go once a season. If you've never been, go to the fondue place that's upstairs and have the raclette! There's also an Italian near the cheese factory that's very good too.
Bear in mind, if you climb to the glacier, bring food/water. It's expensive at the top (5 euro or so for a 500ml bottle of water) |

I forgot, you have to try a "Schümli Pflümli" when you're skiing at one of the lodges. Can't remember which run it's on, but the restaurant by the nursery slope where the lessons take place is best for them (not the nursery slope that's near the town for toddlers). |
