Another help topic but this time I need help or advice to get spilt coffee off a cream carpet! I've tried Vanish, Bicarb of Soda on its own and with vinegar (don't ask) and none of that has worked. I can't really afford to get in professionals or hire a carpet cleaner, but I may have to. Does anyone know of anything at all that I could try just once more please? Thank you x |

Blot up as much of the coffee as you can. Then, mix one tablespoon of liquid dish soap, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and two cups of warm water. Using a clean, white cloth, sponge the stain with the mixture. Apply a little bit at a time, blotting frequently with a dry cloth until the stain disappears. |

thank you, I probably will have to, but wanted to try one more thing before I do. After all its only coffee, there must be something that will shift it!

I've used 1001 carpet cleaner on makeup stains, worth a try for coffee. You should be able to get it in a supermarket. |
