Mainly automated bots.
Say 'bot' back and you'll get 'ha, I'm not a bot, what makes you say that?' or similar back.
Say 'bot' again and you'll get the same message. And so on ...
All trying to get you to click through to their website or webcam

There are chat sites, dating apps, people nearby, games and all sorts connected to kik. If you've clicked or joined in on any then they will have your kik username. No other way for randoms to know your kik name. |

That was our mistake. Stupidly joined a Kik group, got inundated with messages, left but messages kept coming. Had to manually block a load of users. |

Oh and I get random phone calls to my mobile all the time, I answered a few thinking they were connected with work but they just cut you off after a few seconds, I don't answer them or block them anymore as that just proves my number is active |

That's what my friend says, but they still get calls..number is active cos it connects. Be a nuance to them, pick up and put the phone on the side till they have hung up. Amount of calls I get has reduced massively. |
