Same sex. Hopefully there wouldn't be too much fiddling though

Qualified would do the trick for me. If they need fiddling with I would just want it done. Their sex would not matter, they are professionals!

Not sure I would necessarily want my daughter fiddling though!

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I prefer same sex but I'm not particularly bothered. They are just doing a job. I doubt my bits are particularly special.

I feel much more comfortable with a lady doctor all up in my fluffo than a man one.

Doesn't matter as long as they were qualified,

However I had to have a procedure done recently, and the male gynaecologist who did it was someone I worked with for a few years - Awkward!

I've never had a female doctor examine me, guess there's just more male urologists/nephrologists. I doubt there'd be any difference in a female one.

Not good! After 3 sigmoidoscopies I got to the stage where I'd start most converstations with my gp with "without sticking your finger up my arse".....I never did figure why a prostate exam helped diagnose an elbow strain

The only time anyone has had to do that is when is was seriously ill with pancreatitis and needed a catheter inserting. At that point I barely cared if my doctor was human, never mind male or female.

Edinburgh

I don't actually care, on the whole I've found male doctors to be more gentle on the genital front but I have a female GP and she's brilliant so I tend to hang back and wait for an appointment with her if it's not urgent.

Hmmm.

I'm not sure it would be the sex of the doctor that concerned me more than the state of my bits :/
