Qualified would do the trick for me. If they need fiddling with I would just want it done. Their sex would not matter, they are professionals!
Not sure I would necessarily want my daughter fiddling though! |

Doesn't matter as long as they were qualified,
However I had to have a procedure done recently, and the male gynaecologist who did it was someone I worked with for a few years - Awkward! ![](/icons/s/redface.gif) |

The only time anyone has had to do that is when is was seriously ill with pancreatitis and needed a catheter inserting. At that point I barely cared if my doctor was human, never mind male or female. |

I don't actually care, on the whole I've found male doctors to be more gentle on the genital front but I have a female GP and she's brilliant so I tend to hang back and wait for an appointment with her if it's not urgent. |
