so near and yet so far....

Trying to lose weight and I've got 3/4 of a chocolate birthday cake whispering my name....

Do I resist or eat it so it's gone?

Not that I could eat all of it in one hit...

Somebody went to the trouble of buying you that cake. You have to eat it.

Eat it so it's out of the way but balance it out with healthy meals

Eat it so its gone... and arrange some meets to burn the calories.

That way there's more incentive not to demoslish it in one sitting

If its whispering in low sexy tones...go for it portion by portion and then work out some physical exercise to burn it off. Best of all worlds that way?

Enjoy

If you want it then eat it, I'm assuming it's your cake so just take a step back and enjoy it. Losing weight should be about cutting back but not depriving yourself.

Personally I wouldn't eat it but then I don't eat cake

Calories don't count when in cake form. It's like eating food from someone elses plate.

I think birthday cakes have a specific exemption too.

Use it as an incentive reward.

For every half hour you do in the gym you can have a small slice

Cake first apples to finish off with.

But don't forget to brush teeth afterwards so that the acid from the apples does not destroy the enamel of your teeth.

Healthy eating

Think about the poor cake too, it is dying to be eaten by you. It screamed your name while sitting on the shop shelf and hummed a sweet melody while making the journey to your home. Now its been smiling patiently, calling out to you.

You then bring its future unti a public forum to be discussed by strangers that do not even know it.......hmmmmm

If I was that cake I will walk away. However it has a soft spot for you so just eat it and let bygones be bygones
