should you forgive?
after a 2year r/ship she found herself pregnant,you were so happy and thought life was ever so sweet,planned to move in 2gether and be a real family, then after a row over giving the said child a second name, she vanishes into thin air? no address phone number no longer in use, then after 6mths a tex! wanting to talk 
any help full tips on how to handle that would be very greatfull!!

truthfully no i wanted the child to have my last name, and she wanted to give the child her last name which is her x husbands name! i dont hate her and havnt condemed her at all, im still very found of her but the trust has gone! |

If it was just her I'd say ignore her, but there's a child involved. I believe a child should have contact with both parents and you also have a financial obligation.
I'd be wary of her, but hear her out and be involved in your child's life.

no im not, i was going to go with her to do it when i got back from working away by then she had gone ! 3days into me working away the contact stopped didnt no what was going on till i got back and found shed gone! |

if she left 6 months ago.. you had been on here for 2 months by then  .
I would give her a chance, we all make mistakes. Meet up and talk it thro. You both owe it to the child to at least try.

The person to consider is the child.
Get proof the child is yours.
Get you name on the birth cert.
Be prepared to be a father 24/7
No one walks away over a name. There were definitely deeper issues.
Listen to what she has to say.
Play it carefully , freindly and legally. |

meet up and talk to her. if you don't, yu may live to regret it.
really hope it resolves itself for the best for all 3 of you.

so either she has had to register the child's father as unknown or have her ex's name on the certificate, I would arrange a meet with her and talk, see what she has to say and go from there, not for her or your sakes but for the child |

That is NO excuse for depriving a child of their father and a father of the first 6 months of his childs life! Nothing will ever get that time back.
We don't know both sides of the story, but if we're taking the OP at face value, she needs a bloody good kick up that arse to realise what damage she's done to 2 people.
I can't stand women who use their children as weapons, they shouldn't be allowed to breed

just like to say thankyou to everyone for your advice, just wanted to have a wider opion on things as family can be just one sided abt things, had my little sad moment now, so will let you all get back to the filth
