When we look at things in the distance, we are looking through a greater depth of the spectrum of light coming from the sun, like looking through sea water. Up close, it's clear, yet look through a greater depth of water and it's a completely different matter, a deeper blue or green.
So, looking at grass which is nearby will be one shade of green, whereas further away, it's a different shade, picking up the depth of colours from the additional sunlight we are seeing between us and the grass on the other side.
That's why the grass always seems greener on the other side, regardless of which side you're looking from. It's an optical illusion created from the light spectrum from the sun and the distance involved.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence if that's all your ever focused on.
Not realizing how much work it took to get it that way, just busy looking.
When in fact if we took that time to work on our own lawn maybe it's seem greener because that's where your focused.

Nope. Same shade of green on either side of the fence. I guess it's down to how much sugar you've had that day I think. |

Stop looking at other people's grass,
and take more care of your own grass.

The grass is greener on the other side, if you go to the other side, and look back to the side you just came from you will see that that grass is then greener, |
