We as a couple like to plan in advance for a meet ie babysitter chat so we know a bit about the other couple, maybe that's why we have had so few meets but the meets we have had have been great. So the question is are you prepared to wait for the right meet ? |

Most definitely yes, we have a football team so planning is often, not always, essential to us. Plus I, female, like to chat first as well, whether that be in here or a social coffee if possible. |

O only wait for the right meets. Currently my inbox fills with the meet now types, which is tedious as it's invariably not convenient - we always get them but seems a higher volume atm. I'll often not look at the inbox if I just pop on. |

Its not unreasonable to be prepared to wait. The two messages I've had so far asking me for a meet wanted to know if I was free that same evening.
Well, its about 8PM at the time and I got in from work about half an hour ago and have just sat down with food.
Do I:
A: Rush around like an idiot, leaving half my food to jump in the shower then drive two hours or so to likely get stood up.
Or
B: Finish my tea, and settle in for an evening of video games?
I've been choosing option B for some reason so far. I find its better to get to know someone a bit first as I sceptical of spur of the moment meets. |
