a Primark shoebox in Leicester

Instead of putting a receipt in the right place... with all the others, I put it in a 'safe place' because I knew I may need it.

Just how frikin' safe did I think I needed to keep it?

In my search for this 'safe place' I have found a new Radley purse (I had bought in November as a crimbo prezzie for myself), a cheque from the Inland Revenue (woohooo!), 3 books of 12 first class stamps.... but no frikin' receipt!

Welcome to my world... I have too many safe places. Currently my passport is in one of them. I have no idea where that is.

"Where was the last place you saw it? "

In my hand, just before it went to the 'safe place'.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Shall I pop round and help you look?

(Can't believe this line hasn't been used already - come on chaps, it's been 4 minutes now...)

Do you know the bit I hate is after you give up looking for it, the next time you are looking for something else up pops the first thing you were looking for

It turned out the safe place was on the kitchen notice board under the same magnet as the taxi cards

When jo looses something I'll say to her "have you checked xxxxx place?". She reply that it won't be there..... So surely if she knows where it ISN'T then she should know where it IS? Womens logic I will never understand!

.

I need it in order to get one of those special card that enables me to go in and out of China without the need to get a visa and use the passport, which is a right pain!
