I just went to the Bullring in Birmingham to go shopping and I spent 300 pound on make up before I even made it out of Debenhams!

On the plus side thanks to the lovely people on the Benefit counter im equipped with grown up make up and the ability to contour!

Anyone else treated themselves recently?

Oh yes I have treated myself. Three dresses, two pairs of leather boots and a spring coat, a pair of fabric boots and a handbag.

Yes is it does seem excessive but I needed pretty much everything! Plus skincare so not so bad really. I won't be needing to splurge that much on it for a while

I bought some Sensodyne toothpaste - trying that instead of the Wilko variety.

Good on you for spending your money on something you want!

I'm buying my first home at the moment so haven't really spent much on myself. I did buy myself a louis vuitton handbag before xmas though... I wasn't sure if I'd ever have any money to treat myself so lavishly again!

Yeah I imagine you can but I'm no good with make up at all so was nice to have someone show me and colours I should use etc. It was worth the amount I spent for the info I got and a make over plus I think it should last a while.

I am cutting down on buying clothes and shoes this year because I really don't need anything and it's just greed.

But I did buy some Hunter wellingtons, in the sale, some Clarks shoes for work, so they don't count as they're not going out shoes and a Manteray skirt but definitely from now on I'm not buying anything

Oh I did! There was some eye cream I wanted but didn't want to spend anymore so I just got a load of samples that's probably more than a pot full. Lots of other bits too.

I agree that good make up is worth the money. Though I'd hate to think how much my make up bag is worth! I'm a big benefit fan

Enjoy your purchases OP.
