How often do you hit the report button?

i very rarely report people
i have a few men who have been overly abusive but over all i just ignor it if its just typical dummy spitting because i not meet them
i did report a guy i met once for putting pics of me up on his profile, i did mail him first to ask him to remove them but he said no and couldnt see my probelm as he had blanked my face out, by my problem was they was naked pics of me and i didnt want them on show and face or no face surely its my choce if i want them shown or not?
anyway they banned him totally for it as they said when you add pics you agree that any third party on your pics has given permission for them to be added and i obviously hadnt
i felt dead guilty for that as i didnt want him banned i just wanted my pics removing  |

I've only ever reported one guy, he claimed to be a 39yr old teacher and did i want to play with him and his 17yr old girlfriend!!
I'm no prude but some things are just not right! |

We have reported the odd profile when it's clearly a single male posing as a couple. As for reporting abuse... we don't get wound up by it enough to hit the report button. |

i did report a couple once, and they was verified from meets so im assuming they was a couple, for making sexual comments about my kids
theres lines and thats not only crossing it its spitting on it on the way over |

well i'm glad not everyone reports people for no reason. Sometimes we come across people that we don't get on with or rub us up the wrong way and there can be a couple of stroppy messages sent back and forward. I don't see the point of reporting people unless they're continually abusive or you suspect something dodgy about them but its different for me i suppose. |

I don't see the point of reporting people unless they're continually abusive or you suspect something dodgy about them but its different for me i suppose. "

Actually that is one thing everyone should report. It doesn't take much to get the wrong people on the site and it spirals downwards if they do. |

You can also get reported for having a pop at someone on the forums......and why some posts have been removed.
The same rules apply to everyone, if you see something that needs reporting, REPORT it and don't bring it onto the forums with bitchy digs please. |

Only reported a guy once, no contact before and got a message that just said F*** Off. Needless to say thought that needed dealing with. Don't mind being told to do that if we've done something wrong, but not by a stranger.  |

I've only reported two men for abusive messages in the time I've been here and a few racist posts on the forums.
However, since recent threads have mentioned photos in the gallery I've started looking at them.

Since MY photos have been deemed too rude I take great petty pleasure in reporting any photo that "offends" me and makes me want to wash my eyes out with industrial strength bleach!
You can  all you like, and I can hear the collective moans and "ffs get over it woman", but nope, shan't and I shall continue to report with impunity, so there! |

I used it when a guy who had a couples profiles asked if I would set his Wife up for a meet, she had no idea he was on the site and he said she would never know how he had aranged it |

I have for offensive profiles or ones that name and shame
Ive never had to report anyone that has mailed with a _iew to meeting though,most abusive messages I get are from the back of being a forum mod and nothing to do with my personal fun on here |

We`ve never used the report facility, and don`t think we`ve ever had the need to. If someone or something pisses us off we just block or ignore.
Must admit I`m a bit trigger happy on the "block" button though. |

Had the same when we first joined fab..one ahem 'couple' we added to our friends list popped on late one night...'they' just asked some weird questions very bluntly about our kids...nothing incriminating...but the tone just didnt feel right...'they rounded off the session by saying 'fancy a phone wank?'..
So...it was goodnight from me and they got deleted!!!
We were going to report them but we were new and didnt know at the time what the 'done thing' was...plus the comments and questions might have been innocent and just put poorly by someone who was a little tactless when it came to grammar...
We gave them the benefit of the doubt and moved on...but it made us very wary of everyone for a while..
We havnt reported anyone (yet) but have come close a couple of times when we were quite badly slagged off for not swinging and being on here...which was dissappointing because 98% of the people are are nice. |

never reported anyone and never blocked anyone either.
Had one guy offer me money to meet him and was tempted to block but it's so much more fun reading his feeble attempts to try and win me round to his way of thinking lol |

Very very rarely, once I think for a name and shame.
I wouldnt ever report anyone who send me a nasty message, Id just block. I wouldnt report anyone on the forums for their _iewpoints, people are entitled to them. I havent reported any pictures but thats because Im never trawling or nosying at others pics so I rarely see them.
I think Naughtynympho has the right approach. Only report if something is against the rules, I think she was totally right to report someone for having pics of her on their profile and for the inappropriate remarks about children and any threats of violence should be reported or the usual racial, gay/lesbian/transgendered abuse.
If everyone was report button happy and reported for messages or forums posts they didnt like then the site would close down as there'd be noone here. |
