Hadn't realised how cold it was and the thin layer of frost on the windscreen caught me completely by surprise. I wasn't expecting it to be that fresh and bracing.

The sun is fully up now and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It is so calm that there is no movement in the branches on the trees. Eerily quiet.
