Further to my thread about shoes, I've been thinking about other 'appearance faux pas'..for me the biggest no, no's would include trousers being warn too short or pulled up far too high around the waist (a la Simon Cowell back in the day). Also, I'm not big on three quarter length shorts on men...either wear shorts, or wear trousers, but for fucks sake, don't go for something half way between the two...lol

What about on women though?

Lots of emphasis on the site seems to be about what men should/shouldn't do, wear, say, show on profile etc etc etc!

What about women?

Picture your 'perfect' meet guys!

She's meeting you in a bar!

What's she wearing?

She is wearing A pair of those thick footless tights that some seem to think are leggings. A thong and a pair of Claire Rainers wings badly folded into the gusset. Matched with brightly coloured stilettos with dark scuff marks on the heels.

Not a fan of men that wear joke t-shirts (though occasionally the odd one has made me chuckle), as if the printed humour is trying to suggest "hey I'm a funny guy. Hang out with me and it's gonna be a laugh a minute".

Is it fuck! Terrible jokes, complete cheese and could just imagine the chat up lines!

My mum still has them packed away for nostalgia.....I moved on to skinny jeans, and crop tops.... Can remember buying jeans once which could only be zipped by lying on the changing room floor and doing the zip up with a coat hanger, standing up & not being able to breathe....way too tight, but yep they will do and bought them

I can't stand jeans and flip flops on men. I'm also not a fan of three quarter length shorts on men or nylon jogging bottoms.

"It's all so subjective.

There was a similar thread a little while ago and pretty much everything I wear is 'wrong'."

Agree with this and dare I say it, I think each persons perception depends on their age!

skin tight skinny jeans on a guy! argh!

only thing worse than that, is a man wearing his sprayed on jeans, then deciding to really go for the clown look by wearing big, bulky, 'air bubble' thing in the heel, nike airmax trainers!!!

do these guys not own mirrors... or have eyes... to check what they look like before leaving the house?!

cant actually describe how strongly i feel about this one!

Is everyone forgetting the big scoop neck tops favoured by skinny guys?

Especially when paired with their kid sister's jeggings...

For me the same applies to clothes as to shoes. Clean, in good repair and not able to double as sportswear.

People often comment on my clothes a "friend" referred to my style of dress as daring not in a good way.

"What about on women though?

Lots of emphasis on the site seems to be about what men should/shouldn't do, wear, say, show on profile etc etc etc!

What about women?

She's meeting you in a bar!

What's she wearing?

Jeans, top and leather jacket

High heels

Have you been peeking at my pics perchance? "

She meant daring as in too trendy for a woman of my age.

Nowadays my mum only compliments me but she used to say things like "is that suitable for a married woman?" The temptation to show her one or two of my fab pictures was immense
