As we are on about cats today here in forum. Four years ago my dad has said seen a really big cat and again the Big cat been seen again West wales like a puma or panther like animal was seen all around the uk cornwall Kent in rural parts ..... Maybe Dad was not seeing things after all . Just hope that one dont turn up on my door step.  |

They say there are lots that were kept as pets let go to run free or escaped. |

really there was me thinking dad was sseeing things . i am keeping a look out over my feilds here ... i have to go out in dark see horses in stables some nights god ... i need a gun .. i am a cat lover but theres cats and there cats. |

Six years ago a friend and i were driving through Fife (west of Cupar, Scotland). He had just turned into a junction when he drew my attention to a long black thing two fields away (approx 500yds on a hill) - we both said it was a big cat, a panther like cat. We sat watching it for about two minutes and confirmed to one-another that it was a big panther like animal as matching it in size to cattle in length in the adjacent field, however it was a lot shorter in height (plus the grass was short). After those two minutes a police car came along the road and we stopped it and of course pointed it out to the officer. He turned pure white! Got on his radio and after about a further minute he told us to move on. My friend drove on slowly. The police officer stopped us telling my friend to drive out of the area now instead of loitering around. The panther, big cat, whatever was nowhere near us and was walking leisurely away from where we were!
That evening it was on the news off numerous sightings of a panther like animal roaming the area we were in earlier that said day. However the police stated on the news that none of the reported sightings could be relied on and that the public should not worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incase this baffles you, read the first paragraph again which basically states a police officer seen it and appeared to have instructions to stop anyone from seeing the animal. Why was that police officer so hurried for us to get out of the area and to even restrict us from seeing it?   |
