I have seen a lot of messages on here now, asking for advice on how to get a reply, the truth is there is no winning formula to gurantee a reply, firstly they need to be attracted to you no matter how good you think your message is, but if you put a bit of effort in your message, actually make it personal and a bit interesting, maybe a bit of humour, your more likely to get a reply....having said that I have been guilty of a "how are you" message now and again ha ha

I believe the same advice is conveyed many many times in reply to the messages you mentioned but it won't stop the torrent of identical ones

Yeah I just thought if it's a actual topic, people might read the first post and get the idea,

Maybe it's just me being too hopefull that everyone of the posts isn't a desperate attempt to get messaged by a woman

What's needed is a so-called "sticky" thread which stays permanently on the forum, not tucked away in the FAQS, with the same helpful information and tips that are given countless times on threads which gradually fade and vanish as this one will.

I suggested sticky threads years ago.

I keep suggesting it every time a new "charter of tips" is suggested on the forum

The forum would be full of stuff that people saw on Facebook and who died if there were no repeated threads. No more kiss fuck pass

There could be a tips and hints forum for advice only.

Well there is one now, but the main benefit of a sticky post is that it would address those questions that get asked dozens of times a week

I generally think if you've got nothing other than "how are you", in a message then that person/couple isn't for you
